The perfect oil for your skin - No, not sebum!

Jojoba oil is a liquid wax ester from the seeds of the jojoba plant. It been widely used since the ban on whale oil in the United States in 1941, being superior to whale oil in every way. It has a high stability since it does not oxidize easily and therefore, can be stored for long periods of time without any artificial preservatives or refrigeration. In this way, pure and free of harmful chemicals that are added to most of the products we use today.



You might have noticed that this oil is present in a large majority of health care or skin-care products  today as a key ingredient, such as shampoos, moisturizers, sun screens and is also commonly used in the cosmetic industry.

Jojoba oil is extremely safe to use on all skin types, because it is toxic and does not come directly from the seeds from a plant and is hypoallergenic. This means that it does not irritate the skin even if your skin is very sensitive and can be safely used on areas around the eye.
