3 Steps to a Healthier

Many men and women today work long hours and find it difficult to take time out to relax. If you are stressed from your work, skipping meals to meet deadlines and still find time to enjoy life you could be heading for a breakdown of health. You need to start exercising, eating right and socializing and time for your family. Here are 3 ways to be healthy and happy.

  1. Exercise : In this age of technology, most things are accessible with a click of the mouse you can pay your bills and shop for almost everything online. As a result, you may find that they are a bit 'heavier than you would like. If you are overweight, you are likely to develop problems of high blood pressure, diabetes, and heart. You do not need to become a fitness freak, taking the stairs, doing chores around the house and walking will help. Of course, regular workouts are the best as they help to increase immunity levels and keep your heart healthy while endorphins released will help to reduce stress and improve euphoria.
  2. Diet: To stay healthy and fit your need to adjust your daily calorie intake. On average, for men is about 2500 calories for women and 1900. This can vary from person to person depending on age, height, weight and how active you are. You should make a habit of eating nutritional meals and cut out foods high in cholesterol, which is a major cause of heart problems. You should drink at least 2-3 liters of water a day, as it helps to eliminate toxins. If you smoke, give up and stop drinking alcohol, carbonated drinks and coffee, or do it in moderation.
  3. Sleep: Stay healthy sleeping 6 to 7 hours a night. If you work long hours and little sleep, you run the risk of getting sick, such as fatigue resistance will decrease. Sleep also helps the body repair and recharge. When you sleep, your brain releases a hormone called melatonin that helps regulate sleep, strengthens the immune system and prevents heart disease. During the day, you should squeeze in some power nap - if you work, put your head down on the desk and get a half-hour of sleep sometimes in the middle of the day. This will help you feel fresh and increase your memory and powers of focus.

Stress can affect your health in many ways, so you need to find a way to relax. Meditation, massage, a long bath, hobbies, socializing with friends and spending time with family are good ways to relax and let go of all the stress and negativity that are part of our professional and personal lives. Get annual medical check-up so that any problems detected can be treated? Soon as possible. If there is a will there is away, and if you really want, you find the time to make changes to help you stay healthy and happy.
